Welcoming the CLA Women

We were delighted to host some 35 lovely ladies at Quy Hall for the CLA Women's Networking drinks last night. We're not normally open to the public so this was a great way of sharing our beautiful home with some like-minded souls. We may have come from all walks of life- local farmers, land agents, solicitors, wedding venues- but we have one thing in common: the desire for a natter and to share our experiences with each other.

Cath Crowther, head of the CLA East regional office, gave us an interesting insight into all the work the CLA is currently doing and the owner told the story of some of the strong women from Quy Hall's history. Keep an eye on this website and instagram @quyhallestate in the future as we delve further into the estate's past.

Thanks go to the Country Land and Business Association which represents 28,000 rural businesses from across the UK and has provided the estate with lots of support, both technical and emotional!, over the last few years.
